Here are some event ideas to get the party started.

Host A House Party – if your home or yard is big enough… have a party! BBQ’s or Pizza Parties are always a great time and kid-friendly. Wine tastings or an Appetizer Contest will allow your invites to be part of the event, not just at it. If your property is on the small side you can always organize a couple, smaller more intimate events in the space you have available. Remember no home is perfect. Don’t be afraid to let people see you’re just a person that has a tackle laundry an dusting too.

Pavilion Rental / BBQ – Think the 4th of July, less the fireworks. Unless if you can get some fireworks get fireworks, but be careful if you can find a location at a public pool, water park or community kids park even better. Getting people together for an event that’s not necessary an event can be tough but if you make it a family/friends affair and have activities for the kids, people are more likely to come out. Be sure to bring a few cornhole boards, bubble wands and some form of music or if you’re brave, Kareoke! If you have space and funds rent a bounce house or water slide, someone’s going in it.
