
Our Story
At Givftback, our story is simple. We wanted to maintain a personal approach to real estate while serving more clients. Nurturing relationships with our past clients to stay “Top of Mind”, all while keeping our focus on growing our business to help more families become homeowners. We recognized the need to strike a balance between providing excellent service and having more time for our families. As our client base grew, we found ourselves facing a common challenge: less time to devote to each individual client, our families, and ourselves. Understanding the magnitude of this task, we created Givft as our solution.
To Start, we hired an assistant to keep track of our past clients’ lives, noting their accomplishments, closing anniversaries and other significant events, giving us a reason to reach out. We began sending them thoughtful gifts, surprise cards and personalized home goods on these dates, ensuring our level of service remained personal and consistent. This provided us with an excellent reason to reach out just about every 70 days or so and kept us relevant and connected with them without physically being present. Doing these simple things for our past clients not only allowed us to uphold our standard of service beyond the point of sale but also leveraged the “Law of Reciprocity” propelling our referral business to new heights. The steady stream of referrals eliminated the need for us to constantly seek new business, thereby freeing up a significant amount of our time. Over the past 15 years, this business model has shielded us from the unpredictable ups and downs of the real estate market and reduced our reliance on advertising, resulting in a much more profitable business model.
Recognizing the value and potential impact of our approach, we decided to automate our practices to assist other salespeople who share our values and beliefs and take their referral business to the next level.
